Location

Apulia (Italy), a land of a thousand faces, never the same!

A mosaic of sand and rock, mountain rich of vegetation and wheat fields, orchards and olive groves as far as the eye could see, rocky hills, calm lakes and underground cavities, marked, shaped and changed by man, who  over the centuries has made it fertile and opulent - without leaving empty spaces - a land which is likely to perennial thirst, erecting dolmens and menhirs, castles and cathedrals, abbeys and shrines, museums and palaces, villas and farms, towers and Trulli.

Today, those who choose Apulia (Italy)  will find all this and much more, because Apulia is a land of art, culture, colors, traditions and tastes for all seasons...

Valle d'Itria - Province of Taranto

The Valley

The Itria Valley is a flat land area located between the town of Martina Franca and Locorotondo and it’s divided by the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto.

The Valley is dotted with a great number of “trulloes”,  a spontaneous and typical countryside expression of architecture, surrounded by low stem vineyards.

The typical plantation of the territory is further enhanced by the presence of oaks, fruit trees and raspberry bushes that sprout from the many stone walls built by farmers to delimit the borders of the fields using the” chiancarelle”, the same stone used to build the “trulloes” and extracted from  the land  to make it easily arable.

The entire territory creates an extremely sweet scenery, made of low hills where we can often admire a grazing livestock of donkeys and horses.
