Saint Patrick –
Risto-Pub of Excellence!
Saint Patrick was created as an Irish Pub on 22 February 1999 in Barletta in the heart of the historic centre,
by the will and the idea of the owner Francesco Petruzzelli. This idea was a
personal and difficult bet due to the many socio-cultural differences, such as
the food, the type of beer, the music and people’s customs, who are generally
used to traditional and standard bars.
All these years
Saint Patrick has grown thanks to the staff that over the years have worked
substantially to the project, not to mention the customers who actively
contributed to the growth of the Pub.
Saint Patrick also became famous thanks to a really interesting music schedule,
actually over the past 10 years, known and unknown artists have played on its
stage: Aldo Bucci from Bari, orchestra trumpet player of Mina, Patrick Fradet
jazz trumpeter in New York, Italian pianist Antonio Faraò, American vocalist
Mia Cooper, Gege Telesforo Renzo Albore’s vocalist. Among these prestigious names,
we cannot forget to mention the local bands that continue to perform in our
Pub. There have also been moments of comedy and cabaret that entertained our
customers and we lately hosted Gianni Ciardo!

Our Food
specialities:
In the kitchen there
is a delicious and tasty assortment of food, beer and wine, starting from the
meat specialities from Ireland, Argentina and Val di Chiana (the famous
Chianina), to seafood appetizers, in addition to 40 different kind of pizzas
baked in a wood-fired oven, vegetarian and meat soups and pasta specialities
among the most traditional Apulian cuisine.
Most of the menu is made thanks to the culinary mastery of Grazia, Francesco’s
wife, the Lady of Saint Patrick.
Last but not least the Irish beers on tap, such as the famous Guinness, as well
as local and foreign wines.

Saint Patrick has received many awards and recognitions:
The 2004 “Gazzetta del
Mezzogiorno” award for the best Bar, voted by the
customers.
From 2002 to 2005 best Guinness Bar in the province
of Bari
From 2006 to 2007 best Guinness Bar in Apulia.
From 2006 to 2009 best Guinness Bar in south Italy.
From September 13, 2009 the opening of Saint Patrick B & B.
In April 2009 Saint Patrick receives an award from Ventura
and Annette Stevens Risto-Pub in Milan
for the following merits:
Quality, courtesy,
professionalism, music programming and friendly environment.
The Last project was created in September 2009 with the opening of Saint
Patrick Bed & Breakfast, situated in Garibaldi Street 145 in Barletta, in a
building that dates back to year 1200 with a modern and comfortable decoration.
